Welcome to First Baptist Church
in Livingston, LA
Hi, we are so glad you have taken interest in visiting FBC Livingston. It can be a bit intimidating when visiting somewhere new for the first time. Below we have answered some frequently asked questions.
We look forward to meeting you!
What time do services start?
9:30am - Sunday School classes (No children classes at this time; Limited adult classes)
10:45am - Morning Worship (Children's Church and Nursery Provided)
6:30pm - Prayer Service
What do I wear?
Please come as you are. There are no dress requirements. Some gentlemen will have on dress pants and a tie and some will be in jeans. Some ladies may have on a dress and others will be in jeans. You will find that all walks of life join us for worship.
What happens in a service?
Our Sunday services include singing songs from traditional hymns to contemporary worship. Music worship is followed by a biblical sermon from our pastor.
What about my children?
During the Sunday morning service our children join our parents during a portion of praise and worship. The 4 year old through 5th grade children are then dismissed to children’s church. Children may remain with you if that is your desire. Nursery is provided for infants to 3 years old. If you want to get your kids pre-registered you can do that here.
What can I expect on a Wednesday night?
Prayer service and FBC Liv Students meet at 6:30pm. We have children’s church as well as nursery services provided.
Will I be asked to give money?
You will not be asked to give money. We have offering plates in the foyer after the Sunday morning service for those who would like to give. We also have special offerings for missions and other ministries throughout the year.
How do I get there?
